In 2012, I started to work on exclusive consultancy projects and developed my business to work closely with a small number of key clients. Having worked as a trend forecaster, consultant and designer for almost 20 years, it allows me to work across multi discipline fashion projects in line with my client’s specific needs. There are two sides to my experience – garment design & trend forecasting – I have spent a decade on each specialism. The first part of my career was spent designing for major high street multiples and brands, both directly and in the supply chain. Including: Debenhams, Triumph, M&S and Top Shop. After this, I went on to recruit a team of specialists and led one of WGSN’s trend teams for 7 years. I have created trend content and in-house presentations for many businesses including: Stylus.com, M&S, Women’s Secret, Inditex, Rip Curl, Warnaco, Hanes Brands, Triumph, Monsoon/Accessorize, Amazon Fashion EU & have presented global seminars at key industry events in North & South America, Australia, Europe and Japan.
Based between London & Hertfordshire, I can work either in-house or from my home studio. Having worked at the forefront of future trends, my research explores fashion, textiles, technical garment innovations, vintage, embellishments, and colour trends. This information can be translated into bespoke trend presentations. Colour & print are specific areas in which I have supported a wide range of clients, both as specific seasonal projects or to add an element of forecast and planning to a range.
When I’m not focussed on trends, I pursue my passion for slower product cycles - working with brands to develop premium product that has style & integrity as well as timeless appeal. The majority of my work has had an emphasis on lingerie, loungewear, swimwear, athleisure & beach clothing / accessories.
